Huggy Wuggy’s Game

A toy-box nightmare with trap weight, broken carnival color, and enough whispered detail to keep the floor moving and the room uneasy.

Production Notes

This track is a playful horror nod to Huggy Wuggy, the long-limbed antagonist from Poppy Playtime, filtered through the much more practical direction I got at home: “make a scary song about the creepy blue guy.”

The hook comes from collision: toy sounds, child-scale imagery, and a drum bed that refuses to behave like a novelty track. I wanted it to feel like a kid’s nightmare with real low-end under it, not a wink-at-the-camera parody.

It stays effective because the horror details are specific while the rhythm stays blunt and physical.

Lyrics

[Intro]
[whispered vocals]
Step in the dark
Door clicks
Clock ticks
Shhh… listen

[Verse 1]
Crayon hearts
On the peeling wall
Little blue handprints
Down the hallway crawl
Teeth marks
On the wooden rail
Something in the vents
Breathing out your name
Pale

[Chorus]
Huggy Wuggy’s coming for you
Hide your eyes
He’ll find you too
Arms so wide
They wrap the room
Say “I’m scared”
He smells the doom
Huggy Wuggy’s counting slow
One by one
Your footsteps echo
Run
Little rabbit
Don’t look back
When he hugs
You don’t come back

[Verse 2]
Toy box open
All the heads turned round
Lullaby laughing
From the underground
Shadows stretch long
Like elastic skin
Every time you blink
He’s a little closer in

[Bridge]
Why’s the closet
Breathing loud?
Why’s the mirror
Wearing your mouth?
Why’s the carpet
Sticky
Red?
Who tucked you in
Under the bed?

[Chorus]
Huggy Wuggy’s coming for you
Hide your eyes
He’ll find you too
Arms so wide
They wrap the room
Say “I’m scared”
He smells the doom
Huggy Wuggy’s counting slow
One by one
Your footsteps echo
Run
Little rabbit
Don’t look back
When he hugs
You don’t come back
